SALEM OH CHINESE RELAXATION THERAPIST
IIn December of 2013, professional Chinese Relaxation Therapist opened his doors in Salem as Peter Lee Chinese Relaxation Therapy. He became licensed in 1995 in Beijing China. This art of relaxation therapy goes back 4,000 years with the Chinese who learned that when points on the body are touched, a certain effect would occur every time. The way that Peter explains it is that pressing on these reflex points can create amazing results; it can reduce stress, revitalize and balance energy, improve immune system function, and create an overall sense of well being.Relaxation therapy makes contact with these points which follow a channel of arteries, veins, nerves, lymph nodes, glands. Peter Lee can now be found at Natural Solutions - Holistic Beauty, Body & Bath.
Who can benefit from chinese relaxation therapy? Therapeutic massage helps reduce the physical and mental effects of stress and anxiety known to accelerate the aging process. The elderly are particularly at risk because of accumulated losses and frustrations. Since this therapy can relieve sinuses, back and neck pain, and is administered with the person either sitting in a chair or lying on a table, many people can benefit. It's a hands-on relaxation therapy, not a therapy done with electronic devises. Relaxation therapy is designed for the whole body, neck, feet or combinations.

What can help you have a good massage? Start the day right by drinking water. A tall room temperature glass of water with a little lemon gives your body a dose of hydration that all your organs need. Plan to drink half your weight in water that day to flush toxins away. Water isn't the only hydrator, you can drink warm tea, electrolyte fortified drinks or sports drinks. Beware however that you don't drink a day's worth of sugar in every glass. Be sure to rest after the massage as well. Continue drinking fluids thru the day. If you feel sore a day after, continue drinking fluids.
Are there any aromatherapy strategies you can use in combination with massage? Absolutely. One of my favorite essential oil blends is from dōTERRA. It's called Balance. This is a grounding blend. I also enjoy Serenity. This is a calming blend. You can review their benefits at our website: http://www.mydoterra.com/bewellstaywell/

Foot Reflexology with Peter Lee
What is reflexology? Reflexology is an alternative medicine involving application of pressure to the feet and/or hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. The application of pressure to specific areas is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet/hand that are relative to every gland organ and part of the body. Although reflexology is not massage, it often is relaxing. Unlike massage, the client also is more involved in the treatment as they respond to touch in order to identify painful reflex points and to bring relief to the area. Reflexology can stimulate the body to increase blood flow and decrease water retention as well, which leads the body to better organ response overall.
Soaking feet 5 mins to bring blood flow to the feet, then wrapping them to keep heat it;
In 3 to 4 repeated steps, massage & pressure point techniques are applied to feet and legs
Warm water rinse at end
Drink lots of water after procedure
"I have been going to chiropractors for the pain in my rotator cuff for a long time. At first when Peter began to massage me, I felt more pain in that area and asked him to lighten his touch. By the time the massage was over, I did not have the pain and my movement was much better. It worked better than the chiropractor. Now I'm scheduling weekly half hour to hour visits with him. He does a good job." - Tom, from Salem
"I come in for my feet because I have neuralgia on the bottom of them. I have such painful nights that keep me from resting. My skin is so sensitive because of the nerve damage, but coming to Peter has helped. He helps improve the circulation and I can feel it in the rest of my legs. I have restless leg syndrom as well, so I know that I'm going to rest the night that he gives me the massage. The repeated steps revives my whole body. Highly recommend the foot reflexology msasage."
